2'-chloro-3,4-dihydroxy Acetophenone, also known as 4-(Chloroacetyl)catechol, is a chemical compound with the CAS number 99-40-1. It is an alpha-chloroketone, aromatic ketone, and a member of the acetophenone family. It is a white to pale beige solid with a melting point of 174-176°C. It is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, particularly in the synthesis of certain APIs, such as Epinephrine.
